I am sure many of you will have read the transition guidance issued by the National Information Governance Board (NIGB) last November which was designed to help NHS organisations maintain good information governance during the period of transition and change.
You may also have seen the recent NIGB Information Governance Transition Plan and the spread sheet designed to help SHAs oversee and PCT Clusters manage the tasks and risks associated with information governance during the transition of PCTs.
We have taken a look and it seems to me that it 'does what it says on the tin'. It will enable PCTs and SHAs identify IG risks and to plan how to deal with those risks as they move through transition.
