Remedies Directive 'transitional provisions'
The amended Remedies Directive comes into force on 20 December 2009. The new rules include more detail on the content of award decision notices sent to bidders, and a new power for courts to make public contracts ineffective in certain circumstances.
New requirement - payment of sub-contractors within 30 days
The OGC has recently published guidance on the new requirement (announced in the recent Budget) for all public contracts to include a requirement that suppliers of goods and services must pay their sub-contractors within 30 days.
